At Still Seeing Spots Appaloosas, our goal is to produce quality performance Appaloosa horses with excellent personalities, beautiful conformation, athletic ability, and the icing on the cake...color. Our horses are true all around athletes, in other words, horses that possesses both the mind and movement to excel in many disciplines - both on the rail and off. We proudly offer the services of Silver Medallion Earner, Straws Mighty Magnum, the only double registered, proven, Gold Champagne Appaloosa Stallion currently on the market. Through him, we strive to add the rare Champagne dilution gene to the wonderful Appaloosa coloring for a truly unique performance Appaloosa. Still Seeing Spots Appaloosas is owned and operated by Jacob & Kristine Ryun, with their two young children, as a small family business. Personalized, daily care is an important part of the operation. We focus on quality - not quantity in our program. Still Seeing Spots Appaloosas has relocated a few times due to Jacob's United States Air Force Active Duty status. Originally started in Wisconsin, we relocated to Alaska from 2003-2005, then to southern Illinois (near St. Louis, MO) from 2005-2009, and finally in August of 2009 we left Active Duty with the United States Air Force and are now managing a guest and cattle ranch nestled in the beautiful North Dakota badlands and Little Missouri River breaks!...while still striving to produce the best Appaloosa horses. Whether you are looking for a World Champion show horse, or an 'in your back pocket' companion horse, Still Seeing Spots Appaloosas has the horse for you!
