Straws Mighty
Magnum is versatility. He has earned many prestigious awards
and recognition in a variety of events - on the ApHC, NBHA & Open show
circuits. He is also a favorite horse on the trails and working on
the ranch. Magnum is extremely
athletic and versatile with a quiet, easy-going personality that makes him
a favorite with all who meet him.
Magnum comes by his
abilities honestly. His sire, Straw Sham is a multiple Medallion
Earner producer, ROM sire, Multiple World & National Reserve
Champion/Top Ten Sire (both US & Canada), and his foals have earned
many ApHC points. Not to mention he is by the great Romans Straw
Man. Magnum's dam, Popeyes Pride has also proven to be an excellent
producer. With only 3 foals showing, they have earned over 300 ApHC
& ACAAP points, Medallions, and many Championships and wins on open show circuits.
These lines also make Magnum an excellent Appaloosa choice for your
heavily Zippo Pine Bar bred pleasure mares.
Magnum's foals are showing the same
athletic ability and excellent dispositions while also being stamped with
exceptional conformation, pretty heads, pleasing profiles, and the will to
work that makes their sire such an excellent horse. His
foals are now beginning to steal the spotlight in ApHC, 4-H, and Open
circuits throughout the United States, and proving their versatility as
they go. They are proving to be excellent Non-Pro and Youth mounts
with their quiet, trainable dispositions, as well as, competitive in Open
classes.
